I forgot to take a before shot for this mantle – it had been painted in a white semigloss paint.

While I was doing other work in the house, my client asked me if I could come up with a better color to match the stone.

I told her maybe I could

make it look like the

stone – the worst case is

that it would be to hard

to duplicate. If it didn’t

turn out, there’d be no

charge for the effort, we

would just pick out a

new color of paint.

Well, it turned out!
